I don't think Jerry Yang will simply disappear from the poker scene, but in terms of overall marketability and likelihood of returning large portions of the winnings to the poker economy obviously he isn't the first person people wanted to see win the main event.
But he probably is good for his family and friends and causes he believes in.
OP- he won his money, let him be who he is with it.
