Again, I get paid 3.7k on January 3rd and I'm going home for Christmas break so it's just a matter of one or two weeks and then I'm home free.

You will be fine. I never paid my bills in college till like three days before disconnect and my credit is still good. Just make sure they don't cut you off or report you and always make sure they get their money 3-5 days before disconnect/credit report. Most places will not report to credit bureau even when they cut you off. You still have like a week to settle with them. As for the rent, I always paid it on time cause the late fee was killer but the utility company and cable company always get paid at the dead last minute.
