mods have access to a 'user controls' panel that contains your location field, undertitle, preferences, etc. it looks different from the form where you edit those same things - not everything that is in one is in the other, they are organized differently, etc.
mods do not have access to your PMs. when we go to edit a user (including bannings, title changes, etc) there is no way for us to view your PMs, or to gain access to your password.
