the ONLY benefit of datamining to the overall game is catching bots and the occasional cheater, which is an incredibly rare instance (not them existing, just them getting caught from a dateminer). And its only a benefit if the site itself isnt actively trying to do the same. Since I have faith in stars, im not worried about it. Stars isnt FPT or AP, its an actually well run company.

I think that gets at the point

I don't have faith in trusting anyone in the online gaming industry

It probably comes from dealing with some of the casinos and quite a few of the sportsbooks

I admit, pokerrooms have less incentives (their money should be coming from rake and not against the players directly)
However, I view everything in the industry as buyer beware and even pokerstars hasn't convinced me otherwise
