Default Re: you ever try [censored] like this when you think youre gettin 3b l

risk 85 to win 49=need 63% equity

aa, kk, ak, aqss, ajss = 20 combinations (edit: i have 6.0% equity versus this range.)
aq, aj, 99-qq = 46 combinations

thus, he folds 69.7% of the time, even using this smaller range. its profitable even without including that we can win this pot if he calls. (edit: we have 1.8% suckout equity and 71.5% total equity.) even though i didnt have much equity if im called, i figured that this would be the perfect flop for a shove.

lets say the flop was qt5ds. do you shove? the flop hits a ton of hands in his range, but you have better equity.
on that flop, using the same range, lets say we get called by aq+ aks ajs aa, kk, qq, tt. there are 29 combinations of this. we have 20.6% equity versus this range. there are 34 combinations that he folds.

math:
he folds 54.0% of the time. he calls 46% of the time with when we have 20.6% equity = 9.5%

54+9.5=63.5
so example 2 is slightly +ev, and my hand is more +ev.

this is the first math post ive done, and prob my last so tell me if i screwed something up
