Default Re: Players Commenting on my tightness

There are a few ways to look at it, and they all benefit you:

1. You now know what your table image is. They don't know what you think of them, but you know what they think of you. You have more information than they do and can make better decisions.

2. I get those same comments. I have noticed that the concept of "tight-aggressive" is beyond them. If I do see the flop and fire at it, they assume I have the goods because I'm tight preflop (at least comparatively). The truth is 2/3 of my flop bets are continuation bets with ace high. But they fold to almost all of them.

3. A whole lot of B&M players will know very well that you are a tight player and still don't adjust their game at all vs. you. So it doesn't matter what they think anyway. You must identify which ones adjust and which ones don't and just get a level below whichever one you are playing in that particular hand.
