Any thoughts on these two picks for tonight's game:
Miami @ Indiana -7
LA Lakers +9.5 @ Phoenix
Making these picks primarily on these teams' respective showings in their first games. Miami looked weak and, even excluding overtime, Indiana played a tough team to a tie on the road.
Phoenix is obviously going to be a very solid team this season, but I think the Lakers are going to be decent and shouldn't be 9.5 point dogs in very many games this season. Thoughts?
