Also, I would have an easier time getting 100bb in against him with the slightly bigger initial pot. SINCE even POT pot pot doesn't get the opponent AI when I open 3x in a 100bb situation.

Any thoughts on this? Seems like a good idea to me .....

You're thinking useful things here. A lot of regulars overpot it when reraising.
