I don;t use PT, but I can't image the file structure is very complex. If it's big I'd burn it to a DVD or an external drive. I'll let some of the PT experts answer that one though.

Careful. If you're using SQL with PT, you won't find your database in the folder at all. Check the Software forum with a quick "+Pokertracker +Backup" search and I'm sure you'll find plenty.
