What we actually believe is that initiating violence is wrong. Make peace with them, give them back their land and settle things, and see what happens. If, after this, they initiate violence on us, then it will be legitimate to attack them and not before.

Sorry, no. Protesting rhetoric != doing. By this logic, anyone who protests "down with Bush" should be treated as if they've actually assaulted the president and hanged for treason. Then again, maybe you actually believe this.
