The first hand, well played. The other guy's stack size of around 50BB means it's perfectly appropriate to get all-in here.
The second hand, I think you were being a bit greedy in going for three streets of value against a 14/11/2. As played it's a difficult decision. I would lean towards folding because he thinks you have to call, and therefore you probably shouldn't. There was no flush draw on the flop, and I don't think a 14/11 calls your raise with QT, so I don't buy that he's hit his straight draw on the river. I think it's more likely that he flopped a set of nines or fives and just decided to let you hang yourself.
I would have check-called a reasonable bet on the river, or even checked the turn given the dry board.
