They wouldn't have needed a separate rule to cover this if it was only at showdown, since at showdown anyone can ask to see both cards at any time. This is at anytime.

This is simply unbelievable to me. I'm really not sure how I would react if this happened to me but I'm guessing it wouldn't be a good scene.

I can tell you I would have a million questions. Like if the pot is pushed to me because everyone folded and I exposed one card and was forced to expose the other, what if I don't? Do you take the pot away from me? Kick me out? Does this apply preflop? I 3-bet and get folds and flash a deuce, do I have to show my 9 as well? What if I don't?

That's the craziest thing I've heard. We seem to be going backwards if this becomes popular.
