This probably makes me sound really irresponsible but I've gotten so sick of hearing about death, taxes, souring economies, weapons of mass destruction, terrorism, bird flu, and every other malady that I stopped watching the news and canceled my newspaper.

I listen to NPR a couple times a week during my commute and that's all the news I get other than NVG.

(It's kind of funny that I'm fairly conservative except for social issues yet get me news from socialist radio.)
