Re: Top set on a board with a draw
If I have a set on a board where I'm like almost >90% certain that the villain has a made straight, then what I do is play it like my set is the underdog and the made straight is the favorite.
You want to pair the board or hit a backdoor flush to win the hand.
The betting decisions will be based on pot odds, or half-pot odds if your opponent bets half the pot.
