Default Laser Eye surgery in the Boston area -- recommendations?

Thinking of getting my eyes lasered and I'm curious as to whether any fellow Bostonites have had the procedure in the area/what they think.

I approached Tufts to set up an appointment but was kind of disturbed by their response to my request for additional information:

Also, I'm going to need as much information as you can give me (and I would hope/expect that it would be a good deal) on AE [Adverse Event] rates, re night vision issues, blurriness, etc., after the procedure at your center. I've put off getting lasik because while I understand 90% of those that go through the procedure are happy with it, it's certainly not risk-free. I'd like to find out the actual rates for the various types of problems that might occur -- if you can send them to me now that'd be great, but certainly by the time of the consult. (I'm hoping that in the last couple of years there have been some strides that have made the procedure more risk-free, but perhaps that's not the case.)

Her response:
"We don't have that kind of statistical information, it is based on a case by case basis that is best discussed with the optometrist and/or the ophthamologist at your initial consultation.

Thanks,
Melody"
