Default Re: OT: Friends don\'t let friends play limit

Sorry, James, but while most NL players say it, few have the hours to back it up--or keep the kind of records needed, maybe. Those who's opinions I value highly have the NL hourly rate much, much lower than most NL players believe is achievable or is their win rate. Simply put, my sources have it far less than most NL players think. 1/2 at between $15 and $20 and 2/5 around $30 to $40 at the absolute outside. No one has ever believed my friend Angel Largay's claim to making $100/hr at 2/5, even if they've played with him and know how really, really good he is.

I don't know why, but limit players seem much more realistic about their winrates than no limit, or at least more honest.

Anyone who uses the handle "daladiesman" has dreams of grandure, anyway, and his opinion on anything other than himself is suspect. I could less about your opinion on limit any more than your ladies care about your swordsmanship, which is probably pretty small to begin with.
