Default Re: ANY software available for MAC\'s?...

MacPokerPro is all there is as far as i know... ive had it for about a month or so... and i will give you this advice

dont waste your time or money on it

it is useful and made me my money back already, but its limited, very buggy, and support is pretty much non existent... my program crashed and was unusable and i didnt get a reply from support for almost 2 weeks, and their response didnt help at all... then it took another week for them to reply again, and their second bit of advice didnt work either... i even tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it didnt work... i eventually just created a 2nd user on my mac, and installed it there and it works now, but still is very buggy, and certain hand histories wont load properly for some unknown reason... a major pain in the ass... plus u cant even effectively import batches of hand histories from tournaments because every time u switch tables it thinks its a complete new session... so u have to manually import every time there is a table change... another royal pain

wait it out for PT3... even if it initially has bugs, i am 100% sure support will be top notch... not to mention that it far exceeds MacPokerPro in features

i plan to get PT3 the second it comes out for Mac, im just hoping the wait isnt too long... us mac users have been neglected far too long, and now it looks like we will finally get something worthwhile to use

stay away from macpokerpro

just my 2 cents
