Actually I do wonder why losing in Poker makes you want to play more poker. The same sort of thing happens to me, I know it is tilt, if I lose my max for the day in blackjack or craps i can walk away easily (but not happily). If I lose a buyin in poker I tend to rebuy.

Right before I came here for a break I lost 2 buy ins at a lower limit than I normally play (3 times a guy rivered me after he capped flop and/or turn with me, runner runner FH over my flopped straight, flush, flush, hey, I know it happens) and felt I needed to go back up to my normal limit where I usually win to get money back. I did win about half of it back but still I know I should take a break not do that.

For me I think it's probably due to thinking I am are better than I really am. For you it's probably thinking that just because you are good you should win.
