Only remove 21 if you don't have MS Office, MS Works is awful but still better than nothing.
You don't need Roxio software to watch DVDs. They're for if you want to copy/burn DVDs, but there are better alternatives available that won't bloat your system as much. As for watching DVDs I use
VLC media player which plays videos in almost any format, and is only 9MBs [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
