I see your point in you closing the action preflop. In Super System 2 (the O/8 section) Bobby Baldwin has a good reason to drop a lot of hands preflop - they can get you into serious trouble.

Considering the stacksizes you pretty much know that you can not push a nutflush draw out on the turn.

Possible trips and the flushdraw - I think I would manage to lay this down on the flop. The price is ~5:1, implied odds will not be huge. Even if you count in the remaining $26 from the button you are beeing laied ~7.5:1 for beeing shown 1 card. If it hits you there are tons of redraws.

Hope this makes sense from a pretty newbie omaha/poker player
