the problem here is a proper c-bet has between 40 and 45% of our stack in the pot, and having to fold after that leaves us in an awful position. if we have more chips i don't mind c-betting, but because we're short and we're oop, getting called sucks because he could be floating us with a huge range of hands, anything from top pair or 2nd pair to 2 broadways 2 any 2 spades or even 33-88.
another thing to consider is that bb has a huge stack, and apparently we don't know how he got them. players with large stacks tend to float flops more often than players with short stacks because they can afford to do it to pick up a smallish pot. just a few things to think about.
