Default Re: Two hands from Borgata $2500 - can I find folds here?

[ QUOTE ]
Early level 1, 25-50 12k starting stacks

Young active player that I've never seen before limps UTG. I find AA in MP and make it 175, all fold except UTG. Flop T 4 2 rainbow. Villian leads for 300, I just call.

Turn: 8 second heart. He checks, I bet 700. He makes it 2100, gut is saying to fold, but I'm really only afraid of 22, 44, or 88 here. Now what? River plan?

Hand 2: I limp ATo in pos 50-100 level, flop 4 ways AxQcTc. I have 6800 opps cover. BB bet 300, UTG+1 raise to 1100, I?

If call, what's turn/river plan?

Thanks,

Devo

Hand 1, I'd call call and call river. If he has a set, he's lucky. But he may also show AT,JT. Because we didn't raise the flop, he has no information about our hand.

Hand 2, QT would also raise to 1100. Yes, KJ bets us but all others are behind.

Call and see what BB does (he probably has a weak Ace or KJ). If he folds, let's hope to see a club on the turn to slow down UTG+1. You have a good position here, so call is fine.

Once I decide to play AT, I don't fold in most spots here. But I won't raise to get me off the hand either.
