I think you have to look at it this way:
You have to earn 1200 points for which you get nothing (except the ability to buy a bonus).
Those 1200 points would typically be worth 1200/7=$171, if you signed up and played at another site. And you could use the 2400 points you allready have for a tourney ticket instead adding $22.

But on the other hand if you only played at Tower I would go for the big bonus, as that would be most profitable long term.
