QFT...that was painful to watch. It was like watching some junior high kid trying to impress a girl, but not really knowing how to do it. I can't believe he actually tried for a second to pretend to be a real pirate. Maybe he'll learn how to be around women being in Vegas and not doing physics at Stanford or whereever he came from.

No, it was the opposite. He was so comfortable that he was acting weird on purpose. It was really obvious when she told her movie joke.

this was my impression of it as well. he definitely wasn't trying to impress her. just being goofy and awesome imo
