Burbank (Bob Hope) would be an awful drive in traffic and their baggage handling system sucks big time. Just 2 outdoor (covered) conveyors and I've never waited less than 30 minutes to get my bags. Quickest way to either casino from LAX is on the 105 fwy. The supposed 1/2 hour another poster calims you will save will more than be eaten up by the fact that Burbank is so far away. I commute from the Santa Clarita Valley to card rooms almost daily. As long as the OP is not traveling before 10:00 AM, traffic is not horrible going thru downtown. Shortcut to the Bike or Commerce is taking the 5 to the 60 and then hitting 710 south. Stay off of the 101 as it is much busier throught the day. It cuts out that 2 lane section.
As for baggage, I have never had a problem flying into burbank, where I have waited hours for rental cars during peak arrivals at LAX.

Don't forgte to add travelling after 3:30 PM. The stretch of 5 fwy from the 134 to the 110 is brutal.
