Default Re: The Most Perfect Situation Ever

Very very nice. Similar situation for me, including the pocket fours...

Borgata 5-10 limit (10-handed)

Loudmouth Frat Boy (LFB) is in the #1 seat. He's been the big noise, attempting to push the table around with lots of pre-flop raises.

Hero is in the #6 seat, only been sitting in for a half-hour at this point.

The perfect hand:

MP1 limps, Hero limps in MP2 with 4h 4d, SB completes, LFB as BB raises, everyone calls.

Pot (40)
Flop: Ks 4c 4s
BB bets, MP1 calls, Hero calls, SB folds
(I'm trying to keep MP1 in as long as possible, hence no raise. Today I'd probably raise it)

Pot (55)
Turn: Qc
BB bets, I raise, we go back and forth and cap it at 4 bets each.

Pot (135)
River: 6d
I slump my shoulders EVER so gently, as if I had missed the flush I was chasing, and stare at the board (Great acting, I must say lol)

BB bets, I pause, then raise, we go back and forth and cap.

Showdown:
BB shows Kh Kd (full house, Kings full of fours)
Hero shows four of a kind, fours

Final pot = $211, after $4 rake.

LFB had literall smacked his pocket cards down at showoff, as if to say "Do NOT [censored] with me!"! I just gently turned over my cards and looked at the dealer, while the table erupted around me. Two different people at the table later told me they thought I had AcXc chasing the flush.

Just goes to show, a little Hollywood CAN go a long way. That, and a lucky flop, of course...
