he randomly msgs me all kinds of odd stuff over aim, i just assumed he was joking about scamming people since thats the kind of thing he thinks is funny. Obv wouldn't help him chip dumb or anything

I'm willing to back up Echo here, i think Robin would just ask him and twisted would laugh it off like a joke. I find it highly highly unlikely he is involved in any scamming.
