the top 5 player whent on to play in the 1000 ap challange, where there was around 700 players. With 4500 to 5500 taken in the first tourney and figuaring the same fro the other 700 players = 1000 each player = 700,000

the "1000 ap challenge" did not have a buyin of $1,000.

it had total prizes of $1k.

please stop posting wrong and stupid things.

I'm assuming he means that AP got $1,000 in extra money from each event that the 700 people qualified through. Of course, 5 came from his event, so it would only take 140 events like that. Plus of course we're missing a ton of other information.

OP, no one has any idea if you have a legitimate point or not, as you have completely fouled up all the numbers here. What was actually paid out in cash in the event you played in? You mentioned a $53 first prize and 64 paid spots, but I don't think you ever said how much the total prize pool was. Also, do you have an actual number of people who rebought, or were those numbers just your assumptions?

Let me start over, I played in a free role on AP. There was 9,753 players, this event was not capped at 5,000. I don't know why I have looked since and have not found one with more than 5,000, but thats how many players there where. rebuys = 0.50 dubble rebuys = 1.00 add ons I forget but they where 0.50 or 1.00.

there where about ( about) 7,000 rebuys and about 2,000 add ons, so this = $4,500 to $5,500 in the prize pool. They paied 64 spots and 1st place was $53.00 + they gave the top 5 players a seat to the "AP challenge", so I though, ok this must be where all the money goes; thinking its $1,000 to buy into this event; but no, it was the total prize pool and included about 700 players from simular events.

This means AP took in about $700,000 ( everyone askes where does 700,000 come from), answer is if my free role took in 4,500 to 5,500 and gave 5 seats to the AP challenge then thats about 1,000 a player, 5000 divided by 5 players to move up to AP challenge. There where about 700 players from other free roles and the like in the AP challenge, so 700 x 1000 = 700,000 That was why I said I thought (wrongly) it was a 1,000 buy in event.
Anyway top prize for the AP chalenge was 250. I say it has to be a scam because where does the money go.
Allso to answer you Q about the rebuys and add ons they post this on the lobby as the tourney is in progress and yes 7,000 and 2,000 where the round numbers for them.
