Wow, maybe politics is actually worth reading then. Not that I expect anyone in there to have anything close to an intelligent, informed, or worth reading comment on the topic, but I find it incredibly interesting. Sad that it's expected that no one who has posted in the thread (that i haven't read) has probably read any of the literature on the subject, cultural or academic.
