He's not going to call here that often, but I don't think he calls a normal sized raise all that much more frequently anyway. The only hand you're possibly losing value from is AQ.

I agree. I like this play personally. As played, you really can't put him on an overpair or that strong of a hand so I think representing a missed draw here gives you a chance of getting paid off by some weaker hands. Obviously, if you had put him on strong hand betting the turn would have been optimal.
