The same way every casino pays the bills, with slots/video poker. You do realize that at one time recently, that machines made up for roughly 65% of all revenues a casino brought in right?
The $5 players provide a nice steady income to the house and pay for most front line employees and leaves some extra $ for the casino. The machines are where the real money is at, and more recently, retail/food/hotel.
