Default Re: Turning a made hand into a bluff vs Kenny Rap

[ QUOTE ]
The problem is preflop, having called a raise from UTG+1 in UTG+2, original raiser can basically discredit any chance of you having 8. You're not calling a raise pre here with any hand containing an 8 other than 88.

Secondly, its v unlikely you smooth called in such early pos with KK. JJ is more plausible. KJ v unlikely.

My point being, on this turn, there are basically only 2 hands you are representing. AK and JJ. So when it comes to the river and you push, although Ak is still in your range here, your range has basically been reduced to one hand, JJ (dont get me wrong, there is certainly still value in AK push here I feel).

If Kenny Rap is any good Im sure he calls you down pretty light here.

Agreed, villains play is a bit illogical with most hands and the hand range he is representing is a bit too narrow.

I would almost never call on the turn and check fold the river here.
