Thx. I played a ton of SF2, but only a few games of SF3. Still, I find it hard to believe that I can't find a flaw in the gameplay of these world class players. Couldn't chun li have launched a slow fireball from long range then attacked right as it was hitting or something

Chun Li was trying to guarantee the win as even a block from Ken would have meant a KO. The reason why Chun Li takes so long at the end to execute the move is because she is waiting for the right time to strike. The only thing Ken COULD do to survive was parry, and he pulled it off beautifully

The fireball part of my first post was a joke (in that I could see an 'easy win' option missed by a top notch player), though I was genuinely curious about the 'backwards kick'. Second post was all joke Like I said, I am out of my element completely with SF3 and understand that the chun li combo was a smart percentage play.

edit: my communication skills are poor tonight, hence multiple ninja edits and now this one, heh. Of course my humor is as strong as ever
