I think you played it fine and maybe got max value.

However, with your read I think re-popping it on the flop is a good line as well. Since he raised UTG his range includes hands like TT,JJ,QQ that he's probably willing to get it in with on the flop but scare cards could come and slow him down. He might also be willing to continue with something like AK or AQ if he feels like you're making a move on him on this relatively dry flop.
