Assuming that 2/4 is the lowest limit offered by the casino, it is not uncommon for other new players to be at the table. Think about all those people watching televised poker who want to give it a try while they are at the casino.
The table should be fairly tolerant toward new players. Understanding the betting structure and basic principals of limit will go a long way. Just try to relax and have fun.
