Default Re: Nolan apparently forgot the sign posted in EVERY casino

[ QUOTE ]
EVERY Nevada licensee has signs posted which expressly say that chips are not valid for use in any monetary manner, other than gambling .... or some wording to that effect.

That this comes as news to Nolan is a bit astounding, inasmuchas he has probably been in Nevada casinos thousands of times per year.

But isn't this just an awful precedent to be set though?

Theoretically, if they decided they didn't like me then couldn't they just say, "Can you PROVE that you won these chips 2 nights ago as you claim?"

"Ummm, I was sitting right there. That guy is the same floor-guy. i even used my players-card."

"Your players-card shows no record of how much you had when you left the table sir. And even if we did....there's the possibility that you lost those checks playing something else and then received these checks from another players. So, again, can you PROVE that you actually won these checks at THAT table 2 nights ago?"

They don't give me a damn receipt at the table.
I'm not allowed to video-tape myself showing that I won.
This is a ridiculous standard to have to PROVE that I actually played at the table to win these checks that allows.

Casino can abuse their power fairly easily I would think and pretty much not cash any check for almost anyone.
