It's because a lot of people are lazy, they can read English, but they have an easier time reading a book in their own language.
On topic: I agree with Masterholmes that a pot limit omaha book from two plus two publishing would be nice. Other books on this subject are more of the cookbook type, 2+2 could publish something on the underlying theory of Omaha games.
