Default Re: Old Pizza, Eat it or not?

Disclaimer: I am neither a doctor nor a microbiologist.

From what I remember from college microbiology, there are very few bacteria that grow at refrigerator temperatures that will make you seriously ill, but plenty that will make food smell and taste bad, so, if it smells and tastes all right, it's safe to eat. However, if it is left out at room temperature for more than an hour or two, it could have salmonella, staph or lots of other nasties that can at least give you a couple of days of vomiting and diarrhea, and, worst case, kill you.
