I would just like to point out how the opinions of anti-yankee fans have gone from one extreme to the other in a matter of weeks.
10+ days ago when A-Rod had "no shot" of coming back to the yankees:
"OMG YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO SUCK YOU HAVE TO RESIGN HIM HE IS THE BEST PlAYER EVER OMG WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!"
Now:
"OMG YOU GUYS ARE PAYING TOO MUCH. YOU CAN GET OTHER PLAYERS FOR LESS MONEY WHO WILL PROVIDE MORE VALUE!"
No matter what the situation is, people that despise the yankees will find arguments.
