Re: NEW MGM IN DETROIT
I visited the MGM room late one night. Overall I would give the room a poor rating and will continue playing at Motor City.
Pros:
Comfortable chairs.
Nice lighting.
Restroom adjacent.
Small waiting area with nice seating.
Cons:
Next to busy nightclub.
You might think this would bring in some money, but the room is not welcoming upon entering.
Floor is very inexperienced, no control.
Chip desk/cashier is more like a teller window at the racetrack. Slow and inadequate.
Witnessed a fight there and security handled the situation very poorly imo.
Difficult to get to from parking area.
