Calories = A (the + rest swings in favour of running, because your heart will burn extra calories in the time it takes to slow down from its running rate.) We had this discussion before and someone also made the argument that running is acutally farther because when you run, you travel a small upward distance with every stride, assuming that both your feet are off the ground for a short period during your stride.

Fat, Depends on heartrate during running vs walking.
for fat burn, you are trying to hit say 60-65% of max.
for 25 year old. I am gonna guess 210-age = 195 max
117-127.
if Both your run takes you way over 127, and walk is way below 117 it makes it really hard to say.
