John Navarre was pretty bad.

Not the year we were actually top ten. He was very good, not great or anything, but very good. Griese was worse his senior year, but since he didn't really have to do much other than not turn it over and complete swing passes, he gets tons of credit.

That really reminds me of how rating players by win-loss records is silly. Griese was 3-0 against OSU and was mediocre to awful in all 3 performances (9-18, 100 yards, 1 TD, 3 INTs in 95), Henne's been decent to good in his 3 and is 0-3.

I also wanted to nominate Navarre for this thread. He had his moments (thanks to B. Edwards) but few and far between. He threw the ball too hard, too high, and had way too many balls batted down at the line of scrimmage.
