Default Re: Dissolving your Fantasy Team when it\'s Bad

FWIW,

I gave up Chad Johnson for 20 bucks and a 7th round pick
I gave up Steve Smith and Marshawn Lynch for 22 bucks and a 4th round pick.
I was in the process of dealing Bush and Roethlisberger

Then the commish (who bought CJ) reversed the trades due to some complaints within the league. This is not my first fantasy football league. I've had 3 this year, 3 last year and 2 two years ago.

This is the first time I thought of dissolving my team. To be honest, I think it's good for the league. Even after reversing my trades, I think it adds excitement for the crappy teams in the league. A way for them to get their money back and build for next season.

Our league will vote on it for next season at the draft and it will inevitably get thrown out. Either way I stirred some drama and brough a new element to our league (I'm sure this is done in many other leagues).

The whole "I wouldn't play in a $4 transaction league" is a pointless comment. We voted on this and we wanted this for the sole reason of having more money in the pot. In the end 50 bucks of transaction fees doesn't make or break anyone in this league.

Now I have to go pick up a DEF and a Kicker, F ME!
