Default Re: Roll the Bones: The History of Gambling

I just finished this book.

It is very readable but I have a problem with it. When I spot a half dozen mistakes I have to question the accuracy of everything the author says.

A couple from towards the end:
P 405: The author states that in blackjack the dealer is forced to draw to 17. The dealer is forced to draw to 16 and in most casinos a soft 17.

p 414: The Binion's Horseshoe display did not have one million dollars in $100 bills. They were $10,000 notes.

There were other problems I spotted with names and dates.
