Funny story: Degen once wrote a whole bunch in a thread about Los Angeles about how it's all concrete and crappy and full of hispanics and it pissed me off. Later, he was coming to Commerce for something and asked me to help him get weed here and I said "no".

OK, not funny, but I always wanted to post that somewhere.
