I was a dealer some time ago. Cool for about 6 months, then it sucks. But you get caught in the trap...good enough money to keep you going...but you can't get rich.
Hours suck, work weekends, work holidays, have to deal with drunks/losers...just a real crappy job.
I would not recommend anyone to "choose" to go into this field.
