i hope the new version upholds the standard! my fiancee and i recently stumbled onto an american gladiators rerun, watched the whole thing, and lamented the show's passing. she was on a
ninja warrior tear for quite a while. i theorized that gladiators was a better show, but now i'm pretty sure because i'm no longer running on pure nostalgia. i'm kinda surprised that it was still in syndication, but perhaps they were already ramping up for a return.
