To set up a UPS box, you don't need residency or a Canadian ID. You will have to show photo ID when signing up. You also have to pay one year upfront.
To open a Canadian bank account you need an SIN (the equivalent of a USA SSN). If you have established residency, you can get this number at a local gov't office.
That's why I suggest just setting up the box and using neteller for site to site transfers.
