More info needed. Are you playing with a declare? Is it A-5 low?

As Mr. Bayes mentioned, the game is better played with A-5 since it allows hands to compete both ways. Other good options are to play best badugi for low, and best four-card low, A-4.

Conventional wisdom dictates only one-cards draws, since they will disguise the direction of the drawer. In a loose TD game where players are drawing multiple cards both ways, however, this is not always neccessary.

IMHO, TD hi-lo is one of the better poker games...
