Default Password Manager

I currently write all my passwords in a Microsoft Word file but it would be a big mess if somebody stole my computer and found all my passwords for every pokersite I played and every email address I got! So I'm thinking about buying a password manager software.

I'm willing to pay for it but I want it to be REALLY secured. I've heard of keepass (free and opensource) but I dont know if I should trust it since its free and an opensource. Is it possible that it could have trojans or other viruses in it? I've also found this one from www.CP-Lab.com for $30.

Anyone currently using a good password manager software that would recommend??
